We're checking out the S-View Flip Cover for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung calls this as smart case because its design to protect and hands your device by giving you quick access to information through the S View window without having to unlock your device.
So, it's going to fit the S5 perfectly and retain all of its features and functionality. This is the standard version of the case, but there will also be a wireless charging version available as well if you are interested in that.
Taking a look at the cover here, as you can see on top and bottom of the case, we do have access to all of our port. Over side we still have the volume rocker, and the other side there is the lock button. Compared to a naked S5, this does a little bit of bold to your device but it does cut down based on how it snaps down to the S5. It will replace the back cover of your device.
S View window
If we swipe over, we still have the ability to set a wallpaper whether it could be a custom image. We also have the option to select what is showing on the main screen. Swiping over the other direction giving you access to camera which will snap square photos
Calls
Checking out the functionality here, when you recieve a phone call you do have the ability to answer or decline the call, but you can also quick reply any of this preset messages that can be define within setting's app.Simply tap on the messages and your call will be automatically decline and your message will be send.
Music controll
There are also music control here as well but they will appear if music has been playing before closing the flip cover. Otherwise they will not appear or access the directly through view window.
The only the that I don't really like about S-View Flip Cover is the view window picks up a ton of dust. Well, the front cover is meant to protect your screen because the S View window is plastic, it does tend to scratch pretty easily.
Overall the case is made out of great material, although it;s fake leather it fits very solid in hand with perfect cut out of the ports, camera, or even the volume rocker.
