Seven years after the end of Harry Potter book series, J.K Rowling has released a new story online that offers a very brief glimpse of Harry, Ron, and Hermione in a later years. All from the perspective of gossip columnist, Rita Skeeter.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows was released in 2007 bringing an end to one of the most popular book series of all time. But the book or even the films only to the beginning to a much larger franchise.

J.K Rowling book series started in 1997 with the released of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, since then six book had going on to make over 7.5 billion dollars! And the they were the movies, aside from launching the career of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, the eight of Harry Potter movies also made 7 billion dollars. The final movie Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is the forth highest grossing movie of all time.

So it's no surprised that final movie which was released in 2011 was far from the end of the story. Since then, Universal Studios and Warner Brothers created The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. A full interactive high tech theme park that immersed the fans to the world of magic. The park opened in Orlando, Florida in 2010 and expended this year.

A similar park will open Japan, and the third version version is planned  in Universal Studios in Hollywood for 2016.

It doesn't even end there. Rowling is also producing a stage production in London that will focus on early years before heading to Hogwarts. And then there's Pottermore. A website which Rowling helped create. It gives fan detail about the world of Harry Potter.

But Rowling isn't just stopping just about the Harry Potter. Based on Rowling's spin off book, "Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them" the film adaptation will be released in November 16th 2016.

Expect a lot of Muggles and magic decade to come!
